DISCLAIMER! I have only used AI on product descriptions and some blog posts.
'Artificial' does not align with the handmade goods I offer and what I stand for. Therefore, it has to go.
Though I do think AI can be used as an addition to promotion/marketing, it should not be the main focus of it. It shows laziness and lack of care.
Being part of many facebook crafting/handmade groups, recently I've seen a rise of people using AI generated product photos, without explicitly acknowledging it is AI content.
No matter how honest your intentions, to me, this is the definition of a scam.
How can sellers have the balls to ask someone to invest in something, when they won't even invest in their product or the customer?
If your ever in doubt, ask sellers to send you multiple pictures of their item, to prove what exactly it is they are selling.
Sure, products can look crap when not lit properly, but full transparency matters so much more than that.
The thing they are selling HAS to be the THING THEY ARE SELLING. It's as simple as that.
If you ever need any info or pictures of my handmade leather goods, drop me a message and I will be more than happy to help.
All the best,
Geoff
ALSO I AM SO SORRY FOR THE PICTURE I KNOW ITS TERRIFYING
