Hi, I’m Geoff from Wilde’s Leatherwork.
I make premium quality handmade leather goods, right here in Blackburn, Lancashire. I make wallets, purses, belts, accessories and more. Each item is backed by my lifetime guarantee against any craftsmanship faults and comes with an extended 30-day returns. I make all items in small batches in my workshop, so stock is limited to what I can craft.
I started making leather goods after I got sick of spending my hard-earned money on cheaply made fake-leather junk made in factories overseas. The more I learnt about leather, the more daunting it was. I had no idea who or what sellers or brands I could trust. So, I decided to make my own goods entirely from scratch and by hand.
I source the perfect leather for each item, taking into account the production, temper, feel, grain and thickness. I then cut all pieces, hand stitch them together, and bevel, burnish, and paint the edges. Lastly, I coat each item with my homemade leather balm, which helps to protect and nourish the leather.

Premium Quality Leather: Only the quality of leather is used. No plastics. Each layer is thick, making to more durable than fast-fashion counterparts.
Hand Stitched: All items are hand stitched with 1mm thread using a traditional saddle stitch method. This increases the durability and ensures it doesn't unravel.
Homemade Leather Balm: All items are treated with my homemade leather balm, made from almond oil, cocoa butter and beeswax. This helps nourish and protect the leather.
