Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all business-to-business (B2B), corporate gifting, and bulk orders placed with Wilde’s Leatherwork ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, the buyer ("you", "the client") agrees to the following terms.

1. Scope of Supply

1.1 Products are supplied for corporate gifting, promotional use, staff rewards, or internal business use only.

1.2 Resale is not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing prior to order confirmation.

1.3 Wilde’s Leatherwork reserves the right to refuse orders that appear intended for resale or commercial redistribution.

2. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)

2.1 MOQs apply per product, per design, not per total order.

2.2 MOQs exist to cover setup, tooling, and production costs. Orders below MOQ may be refused or quoted at a higher unit price.

2.3 Mixed colours, leathers, or logo variations may require higher MOQs or additional charges.

3. Pricing

3.1 All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

3.2 B2B pricing reflects handmade production, not wholesale or reseller pricing.

3.3 Prices are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Volume discounts are applied at our discretion and do not imply reseller rights.

4. Branding & Personalisation

4.1 B2B pricing is conditional on branding or personalisation, such as logo debossing, internal text, or custom markings.

4.2 Artwork must be supplied in a suitable format. Any setup or tooling costs will be quoted separately where applicable.

4.3 Once approved, branding artwork cannot be changed without additional cost and revised lead times.

5. Samples & Prototypes

5.1 Samples or prototypes are chargeable unless otherwise agreed.

5.2 Sample costs may be deducted from the final invoice only if explicitly stated in writing.

5.3 Samples are representative only; minor variations in leather and finish are inherent to handmade goods.

6. Lead Times

6.1 Standard lead times are typically 3–5 weeks from order confirmation and receipt of payment.

6.2 Lead times may vary due to material availability, order size, or seasonal demand.

6.3 Rush orders may be accepted subject to availability and will incur a surcharge.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure all B2B orders unless otherwise agreed.

7.2 The remaining balance is payable prior to dispatch.

7.3 Orders will not enter production until payment has been received.

8. Cancellations & Changes

8.1 Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

8.2 Changes requested after order confirmation may not be possible and may incur additional charges.

8.3 Deposits are non-refundable due to materials and labour allocation.

9. Returns & Refunds

9.1 As goods are made to order, returns are not accepted unless the items are faulty.

9.2 Faults must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

9.3 Natural variations in leather grain, colour, and markings are not considered defects.

10. Quality & Natural Materials

10.1 All products are handmade using natural leather.

10.2 Variations in colour, grain, texture, and markings are a normal and expected characteristic of genuine leather.

10.3 Such variations do not constitute grounds for rejection or refund.

11. Shipping & Risk

11.1 Shipping costs are quoted separately unless stated otherwise.

11.2 Risk passes to the buyer upon dispatch.

11.3 Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

12. Intellectual Property

12.1 Wilde’s Leatherwork retains all rights to product designs, patterns, and processes.

12.2 Client logos remain the property of the client; by supplying artwork, the client confirms they have the right to use it.

13. Liability

13.1 Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

13.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or reputation.

14. Governing Law

14.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15. Acceptance

15.1 Placing an order, paying an invoice, or approving artwork constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
